Providing customers with blends customized to their specific needs including new product development upon request. These may include screening specifications, blending and packaging.

With our new, full-scale Research & Development Laboratory, we have the trained personnel and laboratory equipment to analyze and develop new products as well provide our customers a whole new level of quality control services. We closely follow API and ASTM procedural specs.

Fully-equipped state-of-the-art lab including: FTIR, Karl Fischer, Autotitrator, Specific Gravity, Flash Point, Rheology meters, pH testing, Particle size distribution, % moisture, Lubricity meter, Low temp low pressure (LTLP) and High temp high pressure (HTHP), Fluid loss, Particle plugging test (PPT) using ceramic disks, and Melting Point and Softening Point on Asphaltic products.

Additional equipment includes: Atmospheric Consistometer, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Optical Microscopy. Wide range of particle analysis instrumentation including Camsizer, Flowcam, and Malvern MasterSizer, Soxhlet Extraction, LeChatelier Density Training, Muffle Furnace for determining ash content.
